IPv6 subnetting shouldn't need a calculator, as ISPs shouldn't longer /56 prefixes & should give /48 on request. /56 subnets might look: 2607:f8b0:4009:7f80:: 2607:f8b0:4009:7f81:: 2607:f8b0:4009:7f82:: Easy. No calculator needed. Subnetting a /48 is even simpler.

Any ISP (like
@Midcontinent) who are only providing /64 prefixes are putting a large burden on home users, who can no longer use technologies described in "RFC 7368 IPv6 Home Networking Architecture Principles".Show this thread -
So while an interesting article showing useful tools,
@linuxfoundation please update to provide some note that informs users that while they can gain some usability with internal /120 prefixes, they also lose out on a lot. Users need to pressure ISPs to implement IPv6 correctly.Show this thread
