Is The Guardian itself anti-Silicon Valley, or have a few individual writers found they can get clicks that way? http://goo.gl/H5Bq3K

The Press sees silicon valley as its natural enemy because we have destroyed their business models and monopolies. Many lost their jobs.
-
This is the reason for the negative reporting. For example, there is much more sexism in in Finance, Insurance, Real Estate. And more power.
-
Industries such as insurance are actively blocking healthcare. Cable companies are the most hated. All these have worse problems with sexism
-
But the press doesn't go after these industries because they didn't destroy their monopoly. They didn't throw them into a precarious market.
-
It's really just venal anger at someone who tipped over their boat. The talk of "power" refers to this specific power.

Are you going to judge all tech companies by the worst example? Sounds like you're getting pretty close to drinking that kool-aid.

I think while trump is in office it seems ok to attack the valley. Just like white supremacist think its ok to come on tv.

Yeah, but it was like an annoying fly. When the commander is also spewing the same stuff it gets amplified more.
