Why do people want to meet instead of just asking for what they want? I love being helpful - I hate having to attend an hour meeting.

You can often avoid meeting if you reply to a meeting request by asking what they want, and then just starting in on it.

Most people don't know how you can help. They expect you to tell them during meeting.
