You would mis-categorize many fan accounts. Often use images and names of their role model.

Many people use sports pics or crests as logos. Doesn't make them fake. I get your point though

I can. Every product I've worked on had tons of things I didn't like. But resources are finite & "pleasing heavy users" is not the only KPI.
