Retweet with comment breaks visibility to the public via your tweet, so if they are really "trolling" they are doing it wrong.

Or far right trolls are a bit ashamed of their comments / afraid they could reflect badly on them. Or, they have no followers anyway

imho, left people seem more invested in social networks, hence know how to use them more efficiently. This also explains bubbles.

and it's not really "left" (it is in the US, but not everywhere), it's more "progressives" and "conservatives" which ties in even better.
