It may be no barrier to startingt but survivor bias dictates that you never hear about the ones who failed due to inexperience either...

Do 2nd time founders have higher chance of success than 1st time founders? Would you differentiate between domain vs entrepreneurial xp?

I recall a study showing 2nd time founders have higher chance of success only if successful b4. If unsuccessful, same as 1st time founders.

The great thing about doing this with your own company / project vs others also is that you control the feedback loop of experience

As an employee, the downside can be much of the exp is only locally relevant & you only do what you have permission / incentive to

What about functions where you need experience to earn the trust of your customers? Eg: Enterprise Sales.
