        That was my very first PC. Didn't sleep for over a week. Programming in Basic. Connected an Olivetti. Worked like a charm.

        Required a neat hack: when you quit one program and loaded another off the tape, it would save the variables from the first code.

        So you could load the maze data into the only array, A[], and then load the game code off a second tape, fitting all into 4K.
