wrote a bit of code to reduce overlapping lines a little. let's try again.

this plot contains 10 000 strokes (edges). initially i started with 100 000 dots. this is easier, but it looks v. different as well.
i reduce strokes by testing if the area covered by a stroke has been hit many times already. if hits are too high i discard the stroke.
the plotter interaction and path planning is old. so i just export from #lisp to the format i've always used for controlling the plotter.
