Has anyone tried ranking the colleges that behave worst to speakers, so prospective students can avoid them?http://reason.com/blog/2017/03/03/a-professor-who-attended-charles-murrays …

realistically prospective students are probably more interested in sleeping in than trudging to a talk they aren't required to attend

I doubt many students care... or if they do, they'd prefer a college which doesn't allow controversial speakers.

Possibly, just like many students don't care how much they learn. But I would and would like to go to school where others do.

Are any grown ups actually in charge at any of these colleges? Or is the circus run from the monkey cage these days?

ridic! Politeness to speakers doesn't make the cut even if one looks at top 30 reasons for prospective students to join a college!

violence for controversial talks ist awful, colleges aren't build to protect students from reality but to handle it.

a few bad apples ruined it, but completely appropriate to (peacefully) protest this thinly veiled racist
