My grandfather was sent to a military boarding school for being repeatedly caught illicitly reading at night. Better times now.

My 8 year old son too. Part of me feels like I need to put the brakes on a little so he gets sleep but I just can't do it.

One of greatest hopes has always been that he would love to read as much as I do, and I don't want to squelch that in any way.

what do you think fostered that? Seeing you always reading? Reading to him? Both? This was me as a kid & my dad was always in a book
-
At the moment it's simply that the books have in them stuff that he really wants to know.
