I suppose I shouldn't be so nationalist, but it worries me that a bad president may weaken the US exactly when China is becoming strong.

I wouldn't be surprised if they announce soon an H1B visa type program to attract there the talent that will be rejected here

that's very true. But they are realizing the value of foreigners to get more innovative and more global (it's what I perceived there)

But the very best talents pursue their graduate degrees in the U.S. Most of them would like to stay in America.
