i don't think it's wrong or racist to say "eugenics could work". very different from saying "we should do this"

It's racist to say "certain races are intrinsically smarter". It's wrong to say "inbreeding leads to smarter individuals".

and it's most wrong to treat either casually. Because it's "just the facts" right? No. One has responsibility.

maybe. saying a treatment is "too casual" runs very close to tone policing. we readers bear some responsibility
