Agreed. But tech creates a rod for its back by believing it's different. So any scandal is more jarring.

Don't get me wrong, it's great at what it does, but when you start speaking messianic people will always expect miracles.

Tech is still an industry first and foremost. Better at some things and worse than other industries.
