As a parent I should focus on what's hard for schools to teach: imagination, initiative, independence.

I feel like alot of my HS/college was about study skills + workload mgmnt, vs intellectual growth. Latter more work to teach & grade

programming allows one to be creative all while thinking strategically. Focus should be on kids learning to program.
