At an interpersonal level, I agree. But at a leadership level, responsible for community, many(?) find it equally confusing

I do think though that both Twitter and HN are early versions lacking critical features to contain trolls.

So do I, believe me. Daniel Gackle does the best he can to make people behave, but he's limited by HN's v1 structure.
