What coding languages should an ambitious 20 year old aspiring founder with no CS background try and learn?

If you have a friend who programs in some language and will teach you, that one. Otherwise Python or Ruby probably.

I love HOFs, especially in ES6: fn = (x,f,g,o)=>g(f,x)=>o(g(f(x)),f(g(x))) becomes a thing.
