How would you feel if companies run by Republicans did the same and fired employees who were big Hillary supporters?

A partner is not an employee, financial firms fire partners for not representing "character" interests all the time. Grow a spine.

Thiel is part-time, paid commission, thoroughly at-will. Most firms won't hesitate to bump VCs who aren't a good match for the fund.
