The better you are, the less conservative you have to be in career decisions. If you're really good, you can start your own company.

You forgot to add: if you're childless and/or rich. I'm not rich and a dad so I can't afford the risk of starting another business.
Your decisions are your own, but surely you don't mean no one who isn't rich or childless should try to start a company?

I started my co because I could afford to work nights and weekends, then go without income for a while. couldn't do that now.
