New Mac. Migration Assistant says it will be done in "about one minute." Hours later it isn't. Steve would not have tolerated this.

He clearly would, because that has been true of every migration assistant run since the tool was introduced.
That's strangely comforting. I live in constant fear of Apple declining into another Microsoft, where brokenness is the default.
