It's funny to think how offended both the extreme left and the extreme right would be by the idea that they are mirror images.

@dylanbeattie Truth tends not to line up with orthodoxy, but it doesn't always contradict it. Sometimes it's more orthogonal.

@paulg To stretch a metaphor: alignment & opposition share a common X axis; orthogonality adds Y, but they all agree that using Z is heresy. -
