Cool - @paulg an even better H1-B hack is to transfer into your own startup via @UnshackledUS

@paulg solves only by substituting demand. Not necessarily solving for increase in demand. Also, completely ignores the green card paradigmThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@bobpoekert@paulg@luckwi You mean lawyers :) -
@bobpoekert@paulg@luckwi 2) If u meant hold h1b's then it's no diff from large consult firms that then contract out resources -
@KurtKumar@paulg@luckwi I didn’t realize that “transfer” meant “transfer the employee” and not “transfer the visa between employees”

@paulg For H1-B transfer, startup needs evidence to show they’ll be able to pay through H1-B validity (6 yrs). So, for late-stage only. -
@techmilind Isnt it for 3 years? From what I recollect transfer is valid only for 3 years. -
@lohitvijayarenu that is correct. Max period of H1-B is 6 years, but that is after renewal. Transfer is valid 3 years to an equivalent role.

@paulg A far far far simpler sol would be to
the caps (currently at ~60k) to pre 2007 levels. Or remove it entirely. #thereisnogamingThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
