@paulg Is this really the time to promote one of your YC portfolio companies? How does this relate to what happened in Boston?

@CodyBrown Watsi is nonprofit we donated to, not a portfolio company. -
@paulg I know they're nonprofit, the first accepted into YC. Are they helping the situation in Boston in anyway right now? -
@CodyBrown No, they're just helping people. But I think random acts of benevolence are a good reaction to random acts of violence. -
@paulg I do too but there's not a lot that is random about promoting an org you're affiliated with and trying to grow.

@ab_thomas Watsi is a nonprofit. -
@paulg More usage = valuation increase therefore happy investors. You didn't answer the question. -
@ab_thomas Watsi is a nonprofit, a charity. It has no investors and no valuation. -

@ab_thomas Watsi is not a product. How many times do I have to explain? I give up. -

@paulg I agree. Helping people--any people--is a great reaction to tragedy. People chronically think too locally, hence the criticism.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
