Will ownership turn out to be largely a hack people resorted to before they had the infrastructure to manage sharing properly?

@paulg imho ownership is necessary to foster ambition, innovation and motivate people who aren't 100% selfless (i.e. 99.9% of us)

@paulg fair point, yet they call it "fractional ownership" and one of their top links is "Life as an owner"

Will money turn out to be a hack from before people had better technologies for distributed economic computation? @paulg @leashless

Many of the behaviors associated with non-cash-based economic computation will remind us of how the very rich behave today. @miniver @paulg

@leashless We will need some type of currency equivalent to mediate resource allocation. Especially as some become scarce. @miniver @paulg

@redxloud We do need a mechanism for resource allocation. When we crack that problem, cash will seem laughably crude. @leashless @paulg

@danudey shares are one type of investment and the name is irrelevant, they're an asset class.
