What? You aren't even responding to his comment, just saying computers do a lot of work. That's not a reason to add extra layers and complexity.
This achieves a complicated thing in a complicated way. The only thing it seems to simplify is locking in a vendor for a more employer-friendly browser for a bafflingly small number of seats before becoming uneconomical. Also internet is down because a server is down? Crazy.
