This is gonna be table stakes in a remote world, when you have employees from OH and CA work together all day. The only way for the company to get any work done and not tear itself apart is to return to a world where you don’t talk politics or religion at work.

Not to mention global workforce. Eg india, the cost of non aligned political stance with your boss in many traditional smaller Indian companies can be high. That is why in indian companies it's already tacitly banned.
