Perhaps then a founder who wishes to succeed should plan on starting many startups, under the assumption that eventually one will get lucky. I.e. if 9 out of 10 businesses fail, just plan on starting 15 (1 every 3 to 6 months for a while) and you should be good eventually...

There’s a reason why there a bunch of serial entrepreneurs and only a few parallel entrepreneurs. Spreading focus like that reduces likelihood of good outcome at least in my experience.
