After reading this I'm going to switch out my stove for a coal burning oven.

The question is how much would we have to pull out each year to make an impact worldwide? Going 100% nuclear still seems like a way better option. This can’t be cost effective but I’m open to learning about it.

How is this different (in terms of net emissions) from the biofuel that's already mixed into the cheap option at every gas station? It will be news if they ever start making biofuel from a scalable source that doesn't compete with existing agriculture & ecosystems.

Pretty funny method. Just produce oil and pump it back into the ground. Leaving the same amount of oil in the ground is much more economical.^^
