I’m really not a big fan of 7 page essays to convey a startup vision. Either as an author or an audience. Unless long-form copywriting is a key differentiator or something that mitigates a key risk to the biz, I suppose.

Whenever I see these threads, I always think: "How could I do this as a parent of young children?" Have there been founders in such a situation?

You have to invest in a startup yourself, especially time. If you don't have time, you may be able to invest other things (like money...). You can also just accept things will take longer (same as if you decided to raise less funding)

It is interesting that best advices about startups and journey comes from a set of founders chosen by former set of founders. Most interesting part is I always find YC founders give actionable advices. (Was reading The Mom Test. It is focused on the same theme: talk to users)
