Yeah, a few years ago I tweeted an arguably even more damning Economist graph showing that the percentage of asians admitted to every elite university except CalTech had remained strangely constant despite significant increases in the asian population.

It's the flatness and convergence that seem most damning. The convergence especially, because it suggests the different admissions departments actively collaborated.

The real take is that UC's in California are gaining a comparative advantage in Asian talent because of Ivy discrimination. UC Berkeley is ranked higher in Asia than USA, for example.
