And as someone who runs a nonprofit that helps potentially transformative clean energy developers get large government grants I can tell you that process is an absolute *beast*. An expensive, time consuming beast.

Nonprofit impact metrics are most often driven by funder requests. Every funder has their own bespoke reporting methods.
