Monetizing it will be difficult, unless you have investors who will be willing to back you for a long time. Authors of the audiobooks needs return on investment and free might not pay them, my opinion though

You'd have to either challenge the mobile device duopoly, or break off the long-form audio feature (like Airbnb did to craigslist) and make it so good that people would actually use it. I'd imagine: Airpods Pro, except sleepable, with onboard audiobooks/podcasts.
