There do seem to be people within Google who believe that Google should start tweaking search results in this way, but they aren't doing it now.

Sadly, this is what happens when we ask "can I believe this" rather than "must I believe this"? Confirmation is easy, but attempted falsification is the only reliable method for truth-seeking. It's easy for us to see when our opponents make that mistake, but not when we do.

What explains that Bing et al have less PC results? There’s PC bias built directly into Google’s search algorithm?

Would you expect one person to really know if this ever happens in any way, across all the layers at which a result may be knowingly influenced by someone in the org? Google management may not intend it, though it may still occur.
