What's really going on is that "inclusive" is the word politically correct people use for politically correct. But in doing so they forget it also has a literal meaning. Which means occasionally they use it in sentences that end up being false as a result.

Long ago, back in the first wave of PC, I was talking to someone very PC about children, and she accidentally used the phrase "kindergarten women." What this revealed is that she automatically turned the word "girls" into "women" on the way out of her head.

Previously the word playing a similar role was "tolerance" and eventually people realised there was a "paradox of tolerance". Maybe the "paradox of inclusivity" is on the conceptual horizon.

I've also seen "diverse employees" in the singular, i.e. "I am a diverse employee". " a group of diverse employees" instead of "a diverse group of ee's". Diverse = non-white, non-male
