What he's saying is, you're worrying about the value of the book in money and not even thinking about how much time you'll be spending on books. As in, don't fuss about how much the book costs. It's like you're wondering if it's worth spending $20 when your time is more costly

Fabulous thought. People can spend hours a day doing something for free. The moment you put a price tag, many will move and waste their precious time elsewhere. Weird economics of what we perceive as valuable.
