@paulg , big fan of your writing. If I'm not mistaken, you said companies with centralized HQ where employees work on location would outcompete and potentially disrupt market leaders, in the long term. Am I off target here? If not, have things changed?

How well remote works depends on the company. E.g. GitLab was all-remote before the epidemic. There is presumably an opposite end of the spectrum where it's an advantage to be in one place. We don't know yet how big that end is, but it must exist.
