Interviews, weekly syncs, user onboardings, paying bills, email, talking to vendors, supporting the team all occurs 9am to 6pm. Around 9pm it all calms down and some deep work can happen. I get a post dinner/chill kick again.
I used to do the same thing at Viaweb. I'd do business stuff during the day, then come back after dinner and program during the night. It was great because no one was there.

It’s what I do too, after putting kids to sleep. (I do try very hard to block time during the day for coding, but more often than not something always comes up).
