After people have kids, their opinions change about how to raise kids. They become much more in favor of having one parent work and one stay home with them.pic.twitter.com/9Q4SDniMf9

I explain to people that actually having a kid unlocks "parent firmware" in your brain that is inaccessible prior to having kids. They don't believe me until they have kids, and then it is "Holy f**k! What just happened?"

We found the same thing. I was always in favour of that model. My wife was determined she would continue to work and not waste her training etc. Then we had kids and she never wanted to go back. So we're working towards making that happen.

The sad part that for a majority of people it is not even a choice. Both parents have to work.

Careful on interpretation; this survey does not tell us that people have changed their minds.
