This is brilliant. I think we also unknowingly seek different types of cognitive sensations before acting. Apparent lack of resourcefulness can come from endlessly seeking an idea that feels more right than an idea can feel (before you act on it).

I notice this in under performing employees from my past. In my experiences, people know when they are under performing and they are sort of leaking that too you by constantly obfuscating what they are exactly working on and what being vague about problems/blockers/approach.
