Yep. 100% And cutting out booze helps too. But tracking has made a huge difference for me. And tracking data should help us understand this connect better.

Definitely. I saw that my heart rate stays above 85 during sleep on nights I was drinking vs low 70's - mid 60's on nights I had no alcohol.

Yeah I've come to suspect that the benefits and harms of a broad range of factors - alcohol in particular, but also dietary carb content, and exercise - are mediated in large part thru impact on sleep quality. Having newborn baby makes these things more personally noticeable.

I have pretty much stopped drinking alcohol over the past year and finally am able to sleep through the night after many years of not being able to
