So we are not in a bubble at the moment however, based on the chart it seems a correction is on the way?

Why should it seem that way? What's the *correct* value of the economy? I don't disagree many things are overvalued, for a while, and people will "realize" it, but I don't think you can get that just from a price graph going 'too' high 'too' fast, except circularly.

I worked at Yahoo from 12/2000 to 4/2001. Hired at the tail end of their hiring spree. Cut in their first round of layoffs ever. (Never got around to exercising my ESOPs..
) -
I'd come out of a failed startup attempt with a college housemate, then a year working in a dead-end sysadmin job just before that. I've never trusted the working world again after that (and it was at least a year before IT jobs started advertising again).
