Or the other platforms are mainly used via app, so nobody searches them on google. And the Reddit app is crap, and their on-site search as well.

I remember the twitter 2013 peak – it was pretty meh, very noisy, lots of self-promotional marketing types shilling blogposts everywhere. (Tho it was also quite a bit more light-hearted). I would say the best parts of twitter have gotten a lot better since! tale of 2 twitters

i think twitter gets better as you get more warren-y - normcore political twitter is pretty unbearable, all the action is in these semi-legible amorphously-defined subcommunities.
