If you want to start a startup, it's good to know about multiple, unrelated things. Startups often depend on 4 or 5 different kinds of knowledge, and it's great if they can all be found in 2 founders.

Wouldn't 1 founder with all the knowledge be better than 2 founders that each have some of the knowledge? Maybe our bandwidth is too limited for that, but like I can't imagine the aliens having employees, that'd be weird.
