Can't believe how fast and easy it is for our energy, focus, and conversations to get sucked into politics. Politicians in Kenya have mastered the art of manipulation and our love for drama is our weakness.

I agree, but it is not only politics. It is everything related to your own identity. Accurate reasoning requires a selfless state.

It seems to require almost zero intellect to get involved, allowing anyone and everyone to participate, results in the lowest quality of political discourse.

The very reason we have democracies is for people who can't afford, "taking a conscious effort," or "intellect," to be able to make decisions within the group, because in the past, lack of democracy resulted in guillotines being used. Intellect is pricey and resources are scarce.

Built-in social strategic tendency => language, culture, technology, politics, but also black-hole politics. Maybe the autism spectrum makes sense as social desensitization to end-run around politics once culture and technology are established.
