I honestly don't understand the infatuation with Miami. Slide into a place that has a giant hurricane target? I feel like people who talk up moving to Miami have never had to live in the aftermath of one. Grew up in Florida, 2004 was my last straw.

My worry is they’ll just be glad people are leaving. If the district supervisors don’t view that as a bad thing, they won’t have a reason to change their policies.
