I think this when I see ski jumpers or stunt drivers. There always has to be a first jump.

It’s more than that. There’s always a first jump at *every level* The first kicker, the first BIG kicker, the first flip. Every single time you want to level up, there’s another first jump and very little you did before matters.

This is similar to skiing/snowboarding or even downhill biking. When there is doubt, one leans back or looks for a plan B. Flow can't be achieved and even the likelihood of an accident increases.
