Notice incidentally that they don't resolve to return the donation, just to complain about it. I have seen this behavior before. Just not in adults.

Where did you see this? In the article linked by Paul, the author said that changing the name would require them to return the "donation".

Until there are 0 homeless people in SF people will hate big tech. Become the government, purchase a town, airlift everyone to Idaho...but the regular people can’t handle the idea of so much wealth existing alongside so much misery. SF needs good govt
