They should have done a direct listing. I don't understand why companies are satisfied selling shares to elites at $68 when the market turns around double that valuation in a second.

It goes to show you that you shouldn't nix an idea just because one person disapproves. I would have advised against Airbnb, and I still think hotels are better, but I don't speak for everyone else.

Why would people let strangers live in their houses?

many of the listers own multiple listings and never actually live in their listing. They are running a hotel industry in Residential permitted housing purchased through debt financing
