It's unlikely tha conventional-minded people follow you, and even if they did, they surely think they are independent-minded.

Paul, for the Nth time - blowback is not what you think it is. You post reads as « I’ve only received death threats to me and family, without anyone actually trying to kill us », whereas the reality is «people have not disagreed with my thoughts as loudly as I thought they would»

Part of the latter being that a lot of us who previously put a heavy weight into your words were quite disillusioned by your takes over the last couple of years here on twitter, so when the essays came around we just rolled our eyes and moved ahead.
