Just checked in on the first Lambda School grad ever hired. Since graduation he has three years of work experience and has earned a cumulative $385k ($30k of which he paid to Lambda School). If he were making his pre-Lambda salary he’d have made $90k; a $295k delta in 3 years.

The ad copy writes itself here. “Meet Chris, he went to College X and has Y Debt.” “Meet other Chris, who went to Lambda, and has 4X in the bank”

What's the final calculation when you add in the median amount of work people do during college (e.g. summer jobs) and subtract the median college tuition?

@TrevMcKendrick would know :)

He’ll have earned $460,000 over the 3.5 yrs. Minus 30,000 he paid to Lambda. In-state tuition at his local university ($12,490/yr after financial aid), would have been $49,960 for four years. So all in he’s ahead $479,960 by attending Lambda School instead of going to college.

And the true work experience on top of all of that
