@paulg what do you make of the argument that bad people aren't more likely to become billionaires, but billionaires are more likely to do bad things, and more impactfully, because they can throw their wealth and power single-mindedly behind the things they're focused on?
It doesn't seem to be empirically true. They could do a lot of damage if they wanted to, but they seem pretty careful not to.
